The Norton Law Group is excited to welcome to our team, The Hon. Louise Henderson, Henderson, who will be offering family law mediation services both online, in person at your office or at our CBD location.
The Hon. Louise Henderson has had a career in family law spanning over 36 years. Her career is unparalleled, having been appointed in 1988 as a Deputy Registrar in the Family Court, a position she held until 1992, when she then joined and led a specialist family law team in a specialist family law firm. Louise Henderson then returned to the Family Court as a Registrar and was quickly promoted to the position of Senior Registrar, a position she held for four years.
In 2003, Louise Henderson was called to the Bar, again specialising in all aspects of family law, a position she held until 2005, when she was appointed to the Bench of the Federal Magistrates Court (as it then was), and from which she was appointed as a Justice of the Family Court of Australia (as it then was). Louise Henderson has now joined NLG Family Law as a mediator to assist in the speedy resolution of family law disputes.
It goes without saying that Louise Henderson has seen it all and adjudicated it all, from every aspect of parenting disputes extending to high-risk cases, jurisdictional issues, child support, and financial disputes of all types, including complex financial proceedings.
When selecting a mediator with extensive and recent experience in all aspects of family law, Louise Henderson brings it all to the mediation table. She is available for both facilitative mediation and evaluative mediation, or a hybrid of both. The choice is yours. Often parties commence with a facilitative mediation and move to an evaluative mediation once they grow in confidence in the legal expertise of the mediator, and in Louise Henderson there can be no doubting her expertise.
By selecting Louise Henderson as the mediator, you will be creating a positive environment for parties and their legal representatives to work together towards resolution of any dispute.
